We were delighted to welcome Rory Cullen from CR Solar to speak with our Green School Committee following the installation of our brand-new solar panels! Rory gave an engaging and informative talk, showing us the school’s current energy usage and the impressive amount of solar power we’re now generating.
Our 1st Class Top students had lots of fantastic questions, and Rory—alongside a little help from his daughter Saoirse—answered them all with patience and enthusiasm. 👧💡
As part of his visit, we even carried out a fun and insightful experiment: we switched off all non-essential power to see just how much we could reduce our energy consumption. The results amazed us and showed the real impact of making small changes!
We are especially grateful to Rory and CR Solar not only for installing the panels but also for donating four extra solar panels to our school. This generous gift will benefit our whole school community and help us on our journey toward a greener future. 🌍☀️
