1919 Commemoration

In September and October 2019, 5th and 6th classes completed projects on the War of Independence to celebrate the Centenary events in Ballinalee, Co.Longford. A selection of children also played their part in a commemoration match against children from Sean Connollys G.A.A. club. Despite the wet conditions on the day, the children from our school were delighted to take part on this very historic day for the two parishes.
