Abstract Art in Third Class

The children in third class have been learning about abstract art and artists. We have looked at the work of Wassily Kandinsky and Piet Mondraain. We learnt the meaning of words like expressionism, symbolism and cubism. We really enjoyed learning about these artists and their work and we especially enjoyed creating our own work based on their particular styles.
