There was great excitement in September when everyone returned to school. All the boys and girls were looking forward to getting out and about with their friends. For the month of September, as a school we focused on the fundamental movement skills of catching and kicking.
The poster outlining the F.M.S. of Catching was put up on the Active Board in the Hall. Every lesson, the class teachers focused on two new teaching points. They also revised the teaching points from the previous week. Many classes used the excellent templates from the Move Well Move Often for self and peer assessments.
As we focused on this skills of catching, we did it along side the Strand of Games.
We had a great few weeks of focusing on the fundamental movement skill of catching.
