Gymnastics Strand:
In January and February, we were focusing on the Strand: Gymnastics. We also incorporated the Fundamental Movement Skill of Landing. Over a period of 6 weeks we broke down the teaching points connected to landing and used them in our gymnastic lessons. We practiced landing from two feet to two feet, one foot to two feet, two feet to one foot etc. We assessed each other using our P.E. Journals. We watched videos in class before our P.E. Lessons to see what we had to do to Master the skill of Landing. We finished off our Gymnastics focus with circuits where we incorporated everything we learned over the few weeks.
