Internet Safety Week 2026
Internet Safety Week 2026:
We recently celebrated Internet Safety Week with the theme this year being: “AI Aware, Safe, Smart and in Control”. As a school, every class began their Digital Safety Modules in February which we will continue into the month of March. Classes We looked at all the positive sides of the Internet but also looked at the importance of being safe while on the internet, not giving anyone your passwords and not talking to strangers or giving information out. We also had a visit from our local Guards to chat to Senior classes. We held a poster art competition incorporating the theme for this year’s Internet Safety Week. There was fantastic work created from Junior Infants all the way to 6th class. Our teachers had a very tough job to pick class winners. The overall school winner was Brion Flanagan from 5th Class.
