We learned so much about the role of President and we wrote some wonderful ideas . The first President of Ireland was Douglas Hyde. The current President is Michael D. Higgins. He was elected as President of Ireland on 29th October , 2011 and inaugurated on 11th November,2011. He was re-elected for a second term on 26th, October, 2018.
