Using our P.E. Journal

14th Oct 2020

As part of our focus on the Games strand and in particular -Fundamental Movement Skills, one of our approaches to improving this area was to use a P.E. Journal. We initially started this with our 5th and 6th classes and we are hoping that by the end of this process in renewing our Active Flag, all classes will be using one. The idea of our P.E. Journal is as important as our English, Irish and Maths copies. We have self- assessment templates, peer assessment templates thanks to the Move Well Move Often Scoilnet resources. Children are able to use it to draw pictures and also to write down what our teaching points for each skill.
